Sinekatalog’s take
Jacques Rivette's adaptation of Diderot follows a young woman forced into a convent who resists cruelty and abuse. Anna Karina is superb in a strict, angry and moving period drama that the French government briefly banned.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
