Sinekatalog’s take
Ken Loach's Spanish Civil War drama follows a British volunteer joining the anarchist militia. Passionate and angry, with a famous debating scene, it is a powerful lament for betrayed revolutionary hopes.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
