Sinekatalog’s take
Spielberg's adaptation of J.G. Ballard follows a privileged British boy in a Japanese internment camp in Shanghai. Epic and observant, with Christian Bale's early performance, it's a war film about lost childhood.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
