Sinekatalog’s take

Robert Bresson's debut follows a young nun devoted to redeeming a former prisoner, in a spiritual drama of grace and pride. Austere and powerful, with Renée Faure, it already shows his rigorous, spiritual style.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
