Sinekatalog’s take
Bille August's Hugo adaptation is solid, handsome and well acted, with Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush as Valjean and Javert. It condenses the novel into a polished, if somewhat conventional, costume drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
