Rooftop stories in Algiers.
Sinekatalog’s take
Merzak Allouache's film weaves stories from the rooftops of Algiers across a single day, from lovers to a journalist and a bored militant. Funny and sad, it is a humane, sharp portrait of a city's tensions and secrets.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
