Sinekatalog’s take
Philippe Garrel's drama set between Algeria and Paris during the war of independence follows a woman, played by Emmanuelle Riva, and a couple's tangle with politics. Spare and moving, it won a Cannes prize and is a mature Garrel work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
