Sinekatalog’s take

Lav Diaz's eight-hour epic imagines the heroes of the 1896 Philippine revolution and a woman searching for Andrés Bonifacio's body in a black-and-white myth. Patient and haunting, with fantastical touches, it is a demanding, grand elegy for a nation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
