An elderly couple lose their home and are separated when none of their grown children has space for both of them.
Sinekatalog’s take
Leo McCarey's quiet masterpiece shows an elderly couple separated when their children cannot house them both. Gentle and devastating, it is one of Hollywood's most honest films about ageing and family.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
