Plot
A film of a Sicilian boy's obsession with a beautiful woman during the Second World War.
Sinekatalog’s take
Giuseppe Tornatore's wartime Sicilian tale watches a beautiful woman through a boy's obsessive eyes. Lush and nostalgic, with Monica Bellucci at its centre, it is sensual, though its view of its heroine is debatable.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
