Sinekatalog’s take
Pier Paolo Pasolini's neorealist-inflected drama stars Anna Magnani as a former prostitute fighting for her son. Raw, passionate and tragic, with a stark final scene, it is a powerful portrait of Rome's margins.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
