A film about a family.
Sinekatalog’s take
Isao Takahata's gentle, sketchy comic-strip film shows a Japanese family's small daily dramas. Its minimalist watercolour style and warm humour make it an unusual, charming Ghibli outing.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
