Sinekatalog’s take

Arthur Penn's neo-noir follows a private eye losing his way in a case and his marriage. Gene Hackman is brilliant, and the film's paranoid fatalism and unsatisfying mystery capture 1970s unease perfectly.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
