Sinekatalog’s take
Fred Zinnemann's film of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is sunny and tuneful. Its songs and landscapes delight, though the staging feels stately and the plot's cheerful simplicity has aged.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
