Sinekatalog’s take
D.W. Griffith's silent epic follows two sisters separated during the French Revolution. Lillian and Dorothy Gish are moving, and the film's grand scale and race-to-the-guillotine finish make a stirring melodrama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
