Sinekatalog’s take
Robert Siodmak and collaborators' silent film follows ordinary Berliners spending a Sunday at the lake. Fresh, spontaneous and free, with non-actors, it is a charming snapshot of 1929 Weimar life that influenced neorealism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
