Sinekatalog’s take
Julien Duvivier's tender drama follows a neglected red-haired boy tormented by his cold mother. Robert Lynen and Harry Baur are superb in a classic, moving and quietly devastating adaptation of Jules Renard's novel.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
