Plot
The stories of two hitmen, Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, a boxer, Butch Coolidge, and a gangster's wife, Mia Wallace, intertwine in Los Angeles, told out of order. The film mixes dark comedy, violence and pop-culture dialogue. Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film, with John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman, won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
Sinekatalog’s take
Tarantino shuffles three crime stories into a loop of sharp talk, pop culture and sudden violence. The non-linear structure and the dialogue changed independent cinema in the nineties. Funny, cool and still fresh.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
