Sinekatalog’s take

Guru Dutt's classic follows a poet scorned by a materialist world, until he is thought dead. Melancholy and beautifully shot, with unforgettable songs, it is a landmark of Indian cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
