Sinekatalog’s take

Raj Kapoor's classic follows a judge's son raised as a thief and in love with a lawyer. Song-filled and sentimental, with Nargis radiant and a famous dream sequence, it was a vast international hit and a landmark of Hindi cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
