Sinekatalog’s take

Zhang Yimou's ink-wash martial-arts epic is a grey, rain-soaked tale of doubles and power. Visually spectacular and unusual, with striking umbrella fights, it is a bold, stylised departure from his earlier colour work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
