Sinekatalog’s take

Fridrikh Ermler's wartime drama has Vera Maretskaya as a woman who takes up arms against the Germans. It is propaganda, but it is also fierce and moving, with a strong central performance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
