Sinekatalog’s take

Michelangelo Antonioni's debut feature turns a detective's inquiry into a wealthy woman's past into a cool, doomed noir of guilt and desire. Lucia Bosè is magnetic, and the elegant camera already shows his gift for emptiness and unease.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
