Sinekatalog’s take
Pietro Germi's drama sends a young magistrate to a Sicilian town to confront the local mafia, in a tense, western-like tale. Massimo Girotti and Charles Vanel star in an early, influential and gripping film about law and fear.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
