Sinekatalog’s take

Tomás Gutiérrez Alea's Cuban comedy-drama pairs a straight communist student with a cultured gay artist. Warm, witty and humane, with fine performances, it gently critiques intolerance and became a landmark of Cuban cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
