Sinekatalog’s take

Terence Davies's adaptation follows a Scottish farm girl through hardship and the First World War. Agyness Deyn is strong, and the film's sweeping landscapes and slow tragedy make a handsome, mournful epic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
