Sinekatalog’s take

Zeki Ökten's landmark Turkish drama follows a Kurdish shepherd family taking its flock to Ankara and watching their fortunes collapse. Tarık Akan is superb, and the film's tragic humanity and social anger remain powerful.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
