Sinekatalog’s take
Zeki Ökten's drama follows a wrestler in rural Turkey and the pressures of honour and poverty around him. Earthy and humane, it won an honourable mention at Berlin in 1985 and is a respected work of 1980s Turkish cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
