Sinekatalog’s take
Lois Weber's 1913 thriller has a wife alone at home menaced by a tramp while her husband races to help. Its rapid cross-cutting and early split screen make it a gripping, inventive landmark of silent suspense.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
