Sinekatalog’s take
Oscar Micheaux's silent drama stars Paul Robeson in a double role as a corrupt preacher and his gentle twin brother. Rough and bold, with Robeson's screen debut, it is a vivid and sharply moralistic landmark of early Black cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
