Sinekatalog’s take
Raoul Walsh's 1915 crime drama follows an orphan who rises from the Bowery slums to gangsterdom, and a social worker who changes him. Gritty and early, with location shooting in New York, it is a landmark of the gangster genre.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
