Sinekatalog’s take
Volker Schlöndorff's Proust adaptation follows a wealthy aesthete obsessed with a courtesan in 1880s Paris. Jeremy Irons is fine, Ornella Muti striking, and Alain Delon memorable, in a handsome but cool and somewhat stiff period film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
