Sinekatalog’s take
Scorsese's Edith Wharton adaptation turns Gilded Age manners into a lush drama of repressed passion. Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Winona Ryder are excellent, and the film is gorgeous and heartbreaking.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
