Sinekatalog’s take
Victor Sjöström's silent classic, from an Ibsen poem, follows a fisherman jailed by the British who later has the chance for revenge. Sjöström is moving in a stark, sea-swept tale that is beautiful and humane.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
