Sinekatalog’s take
Ettore Scola's chamber piece puts Casanova, Thomas Paine and others in a coach following Louis XVI's flight in 1791. Witty and elegiac, with Mastroianni and Barrault, it is a literate, wry meditation on the end of an era.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
