Sinekatalog’s take

Luigi Comencini's television series, later released as a film, follows the wooden puppet as he is led astray by temptations. With Nino Manfredi and Gina Lollobrigida, it is a rich, faithful and dark adaptation that many Italians still treasure.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
