A family at a country house is torn by a secret.
Sinekatalog’s take
Andrey Zvyagintsev's slow, Biblical-feeling drama of a family undone by a secret is austere and beautiful. Konstantin Lavronenko is strong, and the film's landscapes and ambiguity reward patience.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
