Sinekatalog’s take

Catherine Breillat's period drama follows a dandy and his fiery long-term mistress before his marriage. Asia Argento is volcanic, and the film's sensual, cool-eyed look at passion and class makes an elegant, bold adaptation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
