Sinekatalog’s take

Joseph L. Mankiewicz's Hollywood tragedy about a dancer turned star is talky and glamorous. Ava Gardner is radiant, Edmond O'Brien won an Oscar, and the film's bittersweet cynicism holds up.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
