Plot

A laid-back Los Angeles slacker called the Dude is mistaken for a millionaire and pulled into a kidnapping scheme.

Sinekatalog’s take

The Coens' shaggy-dog noir drops a slacker into a kidnapping mix-up. It flopped at first and became a cult comedy, with the Dude as a patron saint of laziness and a stream of weird side characters.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
