Plot

Relatives gather in a gloomy mansion for the reading of a millionaire's will, and then are menaced by a claw-handed figure.

Sinekatalog’s take

Paul Leni's silent haunted-house comedy-thriller gathers heirs in a mansion where a clawed hand lurks. Full of German expressionist shadows and sly humour, it shaped the template for old dark house films.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
