Sinekatalog’s take
Michael Curtiz's Technicolor-less spectacle has Errol Flynn riding into the doomed Crimean charge. Dashing and stirring, with a rousing climactic ride, it is a classic Hollywood adventure, history be damned.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
