The father, Arquímedes, and his son Alejandro, a rugby star, are involved. Pablo Trapero's 2015 film, based on a true story, with Guillermo Francella, won the Silver Lion for best director at Venice.

Sinekatalog’s take

Pablo Trapero's true-crime drama of a respectable Buenos Aires family kidnapping for ransom is chilling and darkly funny. Guillermo Francella is superb as the calm patriarch in a slick, unsettling thriller.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
