Sinekatalog’s take

Lev Kuleshov's silent satire sends a naive American to Moscow, where crooks exploit him by posing as revolutionaries. Fast, comic and inventive, with an early Soviet taste for montage, it is a lively and witty chase comedy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
