Sinekatalog’s take
Paul Wegener's 1915 horror, largely lost, has an antiquarian reviving the Golem of Jewish legend only to lose control. Though fragmentary, it is an early landmark of German fantasy cinema and the seed of his later, better-known version.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
