Sinekatalog’s take
Preston Sturges's debut follows a tramp rising to governor through crooked politics, then undone by honesty. Fast, cynical and witty, with Brian Donlevy tough and funny, it is a sharp political satire.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
