Sinekatalog’s take

Stephen Frears's con-artist noir is sharp, nasty and darkly funny. Anjelica Huston is formidable, and the story's twisted mother-son bond gives it a pulpy, tragic edge.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
