Plot

A barber in 1949 blackmails his wife's lover.

Sinekatalog’s take

The Coens' black-and-white noir follows a quiet barber whose small scheme goes terribly wrong. Billy Bob Thornton is perfectly deadpan, and Roger Deakins's photography gives it a mournful beauty.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
