Sinekatalog’s take
François Truffaut's wartime drama set in a Paris theatre is warm, intelligent and suspenseful. Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu are superb, and the film turns the Occupation into a love letter to art.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
