Plot
A sung drama about a strike in Nantes.
Sinekatalog’s take
Jacques Demy's fully sung drama pairs a shipyard strike in 1955 Nantes with a doomed love affair. Dominique Sanda and Richard Berry star in a dark, operatic and formally daring departure from his lighter musicals.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
